Friday night- I worked...Mitch and Luci had dinner at Chick Fil A, visited my at work, and then went to a few golf stores...Mitch said it was Luci that wanted to...uh huh...
Saturday Morning- I worked. Mitch and Luci got donuts and brought me some at work...and then they went to some more golf stores...Luci's idea again...uh huh.
Saturday Afternoon- Luci took a nap while Mitch planted our new Redbud tree in the back yard! It is a tiny little thing...but maybe in a few years it will be worth something to talk about!! Our tree in our front yard got a disease...and with the drought last summer, it is officially dead. We are getting that extracted this week...and will hopefully have a Magnolia planted in it next week!!! I love Magnolia trees and I am so excited!!!
I can' t wait to take pics of Luci with this tree throughout the years to compare the growth of both of them!!
After tree planting, Luci woke up and we played outside for a bit while Mitch mowed. After that, we headed over to the Hoskyn's house for a BBQ!!! The weather was cooler this weekend, but still really nice!
On Sunday, we went to church, and then went to Sam's Club for lunch and shopping afterwards. After we left, we took a drive through Chaffee Crossing and Luci fell asleep for her nap. We took her out when we got home and put her into bed, and Mitch got started on yard work...and I got started on laundry. Fun fun!!!

After my Cinderelli duties were complete, I started dinner...I tried a new recipe (which was mostly just me making it up as I went) for Spicy Stuffed Peppers! They were pretty good!!
Oh and I also painted Luci's toes. She has been asking for a flower on her toes...so I did it for her this weekend. She was soooo still and so proud!!! :-)
After dinner, we went with the Hoskyn's to Cherry Berry for some frozen yogurt...and then came home for bath and bed!!
Whew! I need a weekend to rest from my weekend!! Thankfully, it is only a few times a year that my job interferes with my weekend!
You know summer is getting near...fresh cut grass and toys scattered throughout the yard!!! Love it!
