Easter 2012

We got up Easter morning, and I made cinnamon rolls and bacon for breakfast. After breakfast, I got in the shower...and waited...waited for the hot water...and nothing. Crap! I got out and told Mitch. He tried to start up the tank a couple of times, but nothing. We quickly packed up our stuff and went ahead and drove to Paris. We figured we would take showers there and get ready for church. We were only 10 minutes late for church and joined Quinn and her family there with Mom, Dad, and Nana!! After church, we went back to my parent's house for pics.

After pics, we loaded up and went to Nana's for lunch...and lunch we had!!!! Turkey, dressing, potato salad, deviled eggs, green beans, corn, and homemade yeast rolls!! Nana made 4 layer delight for dessert, and we had the bunny cake as well!! I am still full from lunch! Ha!

After lunch, we went back to my parent's so they could give everyone their Easter surprises! Yes, my sis and I ( and our husbands) still get Easter surprises!!! After Easter surprises, we visited for a bit and then Mitch, Luci, and I went over to Tasha's parents house to see her and her fam!! Only a few more weeks until Presley's arrival...everyone is so excited!!!

After our visit, we went back to my parents house for a while and then drove back to FSM so Mitch could meet one of his co-workers/friend at our house to look at our hot water tank. Verdict: We are getting a new one tomorrow!! Yay for hot water...boo for $$$.

We had such a great Easter weekend...Here is a conversation that Luci and I had in the car on the drive to Paris.

Me: Luci, Easter is about Jesus dying on the cross and coming back to save us from our sins.
Luci: HUH??
Me: Well, just know that Easter is all about Jesus.
Luci: I like Jesus. Can he come to my birthday party? 

I can't believe how much she has grown from her first and second Easter...!!!
