Misc Musings and Weekend Recap

Friday afternoon I went in for a CT Scan of my sinuses/face. I am currently on my second round of steroids and antibiotics, but the doctor thinks surgery may be in my future. We should know more this week. Please pray for healing and for guidance. I've heard mixed reviews on sinus surgery, so...hopefully this last ditch effort of steroids and antibiotics will do what they are supposed to do!

Friday night, Luci and I went to the airport around 9:30 to pick Mitch back up from his business trip to San Diego!! Thankfully it was just two nights...and we had the team of reinforcements come stay with us!!! (Mimi and Nana!!) No, I don't have to have them here, but what a great excuse for them to come and stay (spoil) Luci!!! Mitch had a great trip, but was pretty tired!

Saturday we went to breakfast at Ihop (Mitch and I are currently trying to eat out less, but I had a coupon and considering that he got wined and dined on his business trip while Luci and I ate Spaghettio's...I figured what the heck!!!) and then ran a few errands. We came home and her and Mitch laid down for a nap while I went and cashed in on my birthday pedi that my good friend Kristal got for me!!!!! After I got home, we loaded up and went to the park to enjoy the SEVENTY DEGREE JANUARY WEATHER!!!!! It was a beautiful day and Luci had a lot of fun at the park!!! Saturday night, we went out to dinner with the Grounds crew at Calico!! Yum Yum!!! (again, just making up for Mitch's week of fabulous dinners in San Diego! ha!)




Sunday has been a lazy day for us! We went to church in the morning and then all 3 of us laid down for afternoon naps!!! I am going to cook hamburger steaks and mashed potatoes for dinner. Other than cooking dinner and a little laundry, this Momma is planting herself on the couch...or in the floor with Luci so we can play baby/books/kitchen! Lol!
