Sick of Sick

I call her Typhoid Luci. She inflicts horrible sickness on us over and over and over...and over again. Ok, that was dramatic, but it has kind of been the case lately! Luci is in daycare. Obviously not my first choice of child care, but it works for us. I would rather keep her myself or have someone in my family keep her, but those are not full-time options for us so she goes to daycare. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE her day care. Her teachers are absolutely fantastic! She is in a loving, Christian environment and I love that she gets to interact daily with her friends; however, everyone knows that "daycare kids" get sick...and they get sick a lot...This is true in our household to a certain extent. Here is what has happened the last month and a half.

Luci gets a cold. Mommy gets the cold. Luci gets over the cold. Mommy's cold turns into sinus infection. Mommy gets antibiotics. Daddy gets the sniffles. Daddy whines a lot, but Daddy is fine. Luci gets sick with a cold again. This cold continues into a bacterial type infection. Luci gets antibiotics. Luci gets better. Mommy gets cold again. Mommy's cold turns into sinus infection with hacking cough and sore throat. Daddy gets the sniffles. Daddy whines a lot, but Daddy is fine. Mommy goes back to doctor again today. Blah Blah Blah. I know I am whining a lot, but I just am ready for us all to be healthy again!! I am hoping this will be the last time I have to go to the doctor this winter!

Even though she is Typhoid Luci, I look at this sweet little face and wonder how I could ever be mad?!?!
