We started off the morning by making fabulous peanut butter pancakes...to which Luci turned her nose up and instead insisted on cheerios and applesauce...really???
Mitch and I started to do some heavy duty cleaning...I was polishing bedroom furniture and he was cleaning ceiling fans. I guess one of us should have kept a closer eye on Luci because the next thing I knew we were digging clean diapers out of the trash can, cleaning up baby shampoo from the carpet and wiping tea off of the couch...my entire glass of tea.
So, the cleaning stopped and we came up with more distractions for the day...
We made beer bread...
We emptied the dishwasher...
We painted nails...
We colored...
She napped...
We even dug out her lion jacket that my boss gave to her.
She didn't want to take it off...So, she ended up wearing it out when we went to Wal-Mart for some milk and ice cream.(Don't judge me, I'm on steroids for my sinus infections and could eat off my arm right now!)
All in all, a fun day, but boy she is a wild woman when she is cooped up all day!!!
Oh and btw, she is soooo ready to potty train...if she only wanted to...
All day long she would try to take off her pants and bring us a diaper when she was wet, but every time I asked her about the potty she whined, cried, and said no. Fun times ahead!
Gosh! She is getting so bed. Can't wait to see her in person soon!
