Ok, Ok. I Get It. Finally.

AHHHHH...sorry...just needing to vent my frustration!!! So, Mitch and I had our new King size bed and Serta pillow top mattress delivered yesterday around 5:30p. We were so excited! I had washed our new 1000 count sheets, got the comforter out of the bag and our new bed all ready for us to sleep in...it was supposed to be a great night...soft mattress, soft sheets, plenty of room...nothing to do but zzzzzz. Well, around 12:30a, Luci woke up screaming. After trying to pat her bottom to get her back to sleep, we realized that it wasn't going to work. She is teething and pretty miserable, so we scoop her up and put her in bed with us. (Hey, we have to work, ok!)

Around 4:30a, Mitch wakes me up and says, "Hey, is the bed wet?" I scramble over to feel around Luci. What is the verdict you ask? Unfortunatley, yes...grr. Luci peed out of her diaper all over our wonderful, brand spankin' new mattress. Oh, did I forget to mention that we were going to BB&B to buy a mattress cover today? Yeah, she peed right on the sheet that soaked immediatley on to the mattress. No mattress cover.

I love my child. I love her more than anything. She is my world and I don't know what I would ever do without her. However, NO MORE NICE STUFF! She is banned from ever being around anything that cost more than a dollar. Ok, maybe that is an exaggeration, but geez...really Luci? It was not even a day old yet. I had only got to sleep on a nice, clean mattress for 4 hours before she tarnished it! AHHHH!!!

Everyone had always told me that you can't keep nice stuff with kids around. Yeah ok, I get. Ok, Ok. I Get It. Finally.

Oh, did I mention this is the same kid that projectile spit-up on our brand new couch that was only 15 minutes old. Seriously, the delivery truck hadn't even pulled out of the drive. I guess I should have learned my lesson then. Ok, Ok. I Get It. Finally.

Did I mention I really, really love my child?!
