Weekend Recap: Lion King, Family Pics, Farm

Wow!!! We had a jam packed weekend that was sooooo much fun!!!

Friday- Mitch and I both took off of work early and we took Luci to her first movie, The Lion King 3d!!! We probably should have just taken her to see the 2d version, but she did enjoy the movie. (I had forgotten how much I loved the Lion King!) She got restless the last 20 minutes, but overall she did great! We had popcorn, Diet Coke, and candy. She was in heaven!!!!

Saturday we got up REALLY early to get ready for our family picture by
Jessica Meinardus! Luci did great and Jessica gave us a sneak pic of some of our photos...

Jessica is such a talented photographer and is so great with Luci!!! We can't wait to see our full album of pictures!! Just for fun...here is Luci a year ago...

She has grown so much!!!

After family pics, Mitch's parents drove down from BA and met us at our house. We loaded up and headed to Wild Things Farm to let Luci see the pumpkins and animals. She was a little on the whiny side, but we still got some great pics and had a lot of fun!!

After Wild Things Farm we came back to the house and had Chicken Tortilla Soup and 2x4 Soup for lunch! Yum! Later in the afternoon I made a delicious chocolate cake that my friend Jill had shared the recipe with me! The rest of the afternoon was spent watching football!!

On Sunday we went to church, napped, and Mitch and our friend Sam went to pick up Luci's "new to her" playhouse! She only got to play with it a little yesterday, but she loves it already!! Later in the afternoon, Luci, myself and our friend Kristal went to hang out at the State Fair!!!

All in all we had a great, super busy weekend!!!!
