Nana

My Nana turns 80 today!!!! Well, not just my Nana...she is Nana to lots of people!!! The number reads 80, but the body, mind, and spirit of her are just barely past 20!! Nana is not your typical grandmother...no ma'am she isn't...

Let me explain... She walks daily, is a counselor of a grief support group, actively involved in the Women's ministry at church, Sunday School teacher, Garden Club member, cook, sewer (is that a word?), decorator (she decorates her house for EVERY holiday), marathon shopper, wearer of leopard and zebra print clothing, cheerleader for her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Yep, that's my Nana. She has never missed an important event in my life if she could help it. Why? Because it was important to her too.
