I thought 5:00 on Friday would never come...the day just went by sooo slow. The Mimi and PePaw picked Luci up from daycare around 2:30 (after nap) and they spent the rest of the afternoon with her, Brendon, and Ellie. Brendon came over our house to play at eat pizza. We had a fun, quiet night at home!
Saturday-
Mitch was up bright and EARLY to go take the GRE. The GRE is basically just an entrance exam for Master's degree programs. Mitch is going to begin taking classes for his Master's of Science in Community and Economic Development either this summer of fall. He is excited and I am so happy for him!!!! The rest of the Saturday was spent doing a little yard work, laundry, and relaxing...not much going on. That night for supper, I tried out a new recipe that my friend Jill had posted on her blog! It was super yummy!!! I will tell you more about it later this week!
Sunday-
After church, Mitch and I decided to give each other a few hours of "me" time while the other parent spent time with Luci. I chose a nap and a pedi! Mitch chose to play some golf with a friend!!! While I napped and got my pedi, Mitch and Luci played outside and played play dough!! While he golfed, Luci and I went over to my sister's and helped her make cookies and let Luci play with her cousins! Luci loves to "help" take care of Ellie! We definitely have to watch her!!! We came home and made a quick spaghetti supper before settling down for the night!! All in all, a great day and a fabulous weekend!!
