Christmas Celebrations in BA

Every year we go to Broken Arrow a few days before Christmas Eve and then spend Christmas Eve day celebrating with Mitch's folks. We went up on the Sunday before Christmas after we went to church. This was Emmi's first overnight trip away from home. Since we have Emmi now and our family is now a family of 4, we decided it would be easier on everyone if we stayed in a hotel. So, we booked a suite (we need dishwasher and microwave for bottle sterilization) and it couldn't have gone better! Emmi did great!

Luci just loves riding on these things!

and again!

 Family selfie!!! :-)

We got up there Sunday around dinner and met his parent's at Charleston's for dinner. Then, in tradition, we drove around Rhema to look at all of the lights! The next morning we dropped Emmi off with Grammy and Granddaddy and Luci, Mitch, and I met his sister's and their kiddos at a movie theater to watch Frozen. We absolutely loved the movie!!!

She's got her popcorn and her cherry coke!

Some of the crew! We went to an awesome theater with nice reclining seats!

On Christmas Eve we spent the morning baking and cooking at Mitch's parents house (and eating our weight in fudge) in preparation for our lunch. We had a great Christmas Eve lunch, opened gifts, and then headed back out to Fort Smith so we could get ready for Santa!!

Christmas Eve Family Photo!

Matching outfits!

Annual cousin pic! This was one of the less painful years! It is usually like herding cattle to get a good pic with these silly kiddos!

Tradition! My how they have grown!
