Bun in the Oven: 10 Weeks

Ok, so I guess the consensus is to do the weekly blog posts at the start of my week instead of the end...so, I am posting 10 now. Tomorrow I start 11, so I will post it tomorrow...and try to do my weekly posts every Friday. We'll see if I can keep up!

How Far Along: 10 Weeks
Size of baby: kumquat (I have no idea what this is...)
Maternity Clothes: Some. Just a pair of jeans and leggings. Everything else is just regular.
Gender: Everyone keeps saying boy…but I have no guesses at this point.
Movement: Nope
Sleep: Tired all the time…taking naps when I can
What I miss: hmm...nothing I guess
Cravings: Orange juice. I have been sucking down orange juice like no body's business.
Symptoms:
Nausea is seeming to get slightly better.
Best Moment This Week: Hmmm...nothing too worthy of noting...my brain is already getting pregnancy fried!

And...I finally took a bump picture! This is 10 weeks and 3 days. I think I don't really look preggo...just like I need to lose a few. This is always the most awkward stage of pregnancy.

Bun in the Oven- Week 9

Ok, confession. I am not very good at doing these weekly baby posts. Like this post should have been posted several days ago...but I guess what counts is that I get it up here!!! Oh and I am posting at the end of the week...like after week 9 is over. Is that what everyone else does? Should I be posting at the start? Again, I really stink at this baby post business.

 How Far Along: 9 Weeks
Size of baby: grape (had to go back and look at my phone. I know, I know. Maybe it is a second pregnancy thing, but I just can't keep up with this one!)
Maternity Clothes: I bought a few things and made Quinn go through her old stuff...plus I've had a friend or two donate to the cause. My work slacks still fit fine, but jeans are a different story...that dang button kills me!! So I have worn maternity jeans once...and some leggings quite a bit...but leggings don't count...just like yoga pants don't. It is in the Bible. Amen.
Gender: Most people say boy. I still really have no feeling one way or another.
Movement: Nope.
Sleep: Yikes! I think I have taken a nap after work almost every day!!!
What I miss: A calm stomach.
Cravings: Nothing too exciting this week.
Symptoms:  Nausea. Nausea. Tired. Nausea.
Best Moment This Week:  Seeing our little gummy bear on the big screen! I had my first OB appt. She said everything seems great at this point! Heart Rate was 172.

And 3 Becomes 4

Back in January when Mitch was out of town attending a conference, I found out I was expecting our second child! This was quite the surprise as neither one of us were really planning on another child until Luci was ready for Kindergarten. I sat on the news until he was home. I was planning on having Luci wear a Big Sis shirt and greet him as he got off of the plane...but she wound up with the flu...so I just had the shirt laying out for him to see. To say he was surprised is an understatement!!!

We let the news sink in for a few days and then told our family and close friends. As the weeks went on, we gradually told more friends. When I hit 7 weeks, we finally told Luci. To say she is excited is an understatement!!! She couldn't be more thrilled! I know she will take her Big Sis duties very seriously!

Finally when I hit 9 weeks, we announced it to the Facebook/blog world!

Best Big Sis Ever!

I went to the Dr. today and Mitch and I got to see Baby M via ultrasound! S/he gave us a big wave with her little arm bud! Today I am 9 weeks 3 days. The baby's heartbeat was 172 Bpm. Everything looks great at this point!

Catch-Up

Long time no blog. We have been busy, busy lately. So for a little catch-up...

Christmas dresses can be repurposed as Valentine's dresses!!!

The weather has been really nice lately, so we took advantage of some park time!!

One night I went to bed early, and Mitch and Luci stayed up late. Mitch said she lined up her babies for a "class picture." She is so silly!

Presley had her surgery for craniosynostosis last Tuesday. She did excellent. Mitch and I took off of work on Tuesday to go sit up there with Tash, Andrew, and their families. Presley only had to stay one day in the PICU and one day in a regular room...and then she got to come home. I mean this kid had surgery on her skull and got to come home 2 days later!!! To God be the glory!!! Doesn't she look adorable!? This is right before they came home!

Luci fell asleep on Wednesday night rocking her "Cranio kids are amazing" bracelet!!!

We went to Texarkana this weekend to celebrate my Uncle's 50th birthday. We decided to do a little sight seeing while we were there. Half in Texas; Half in Arkansas!

Thumbs up from me on Arkansas side. Horns down from Mitch on Texas side. Hehe!!

Texas folks on the Texas side; Arkansas folks on the best side!!! hehe!!! I love my Texas friends and family!!!! :-)

The boys just goofing off!!!

I'll try to most more later!!
