Finishing What I Started

Right after I graduated from college, I started on my Master of Science degree in Operations Management at Fayetteville. Soon after, I found out we were expecting Luci, so I took a break. A long break. Well, after much thought and many conversations, I am finishing what I started! I will start back on my degree this summer with the hopes of finishing next May.

Being a Mommy comes first. May is just a goal. It can always be extended. Being a Mommy always comes first, but I also have to do things that are important to me too. Education is important to me, and I want Mitch and I both to be that example for Luci.

Education doesn't have to be formal or worthy of a degree, but I want her to know that she should always keep learning, exploring, and discovering new things about God, the world, and herself. Take a class, read a book, study new things. Don't become stagnant. These are things I hope to instill in my daughter...but I must be the example first.

I am nervous and a little scared. Through prayer and studying, I hope I can finish sooner than later...and if I stay on track... I may finish before Mitch! :-)))
